The Brief
Our mission was to refurbish Cruden Bay Golf Club, creating an inviting and tranquil atmosphere. Working closely with the staff and members, we aimed to refresh the club while preserving its unique character.
Key design elements
We focused on improving the lounge, entrance and bar area, drawing inspiration from the club's beautiful surroundings.
We refurbished the entrance, restaurant areas, and Slains bar which included new bespoke flooring, wallpaper, paint and soft furnishings. The central element was a bespoke designed tartan carpet, from which we created a new colour palette and soft furnishings. This created a more relaxed and contemporary feel.
To introduce variety, we incorporated textures like wallpapers, fabric trims, and Amtico herringbone flooring. We highlighted the bar's woodwork and intricate details, and added wing and tub chairs into the bar area for comfort. Our goal was to create a relaxed environment that complements the breathtaking views.
End Result
A modern new club house area, inspired by the golf club and its stunning location. The stunning space shows attention to detail, providing unmatched comfort and a sense of modernity. Both members and visitors will be able to enjoy this environment for years to come.
