Description
From a hand-drawn design by Zoffany collaborator, Sam Wilde, Eastern Palace elegantly represents the Japanese concept of fuubutsushi; a word unique to the Japanese language that means, 'The things - feelings, scents, images - that evoke memories or anticipation for a particular season.' Snaking its way through the design, a mysterious river unites Japan's four main islands, taking in palaces, temples and giant 'kamis' or spirits. Making its bedding debut, Eastern Palace is digitally printed on a luxurious 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sateen and is finished with cord piping.
