Description
In an effort to improve lives and build a better society, the founders of the Arts and Crafts Movement worked collectively and reconnected with nature to produce handcrafted design. In 1865, the V&A’s first director, Sir Henry Cole, whose pioneering ideas created the V&A, engaged the talent of the artistic firm of Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co. to decorate the world’s first museum café, still enjoyed by visitors today. ’Morris Room Willow’ is based on the room’s stunning plasterwork pattern by Philip Webb. This set comes with two matching Oxford pillowcases.
