At Andersons we are constantly sourcing and buying rug collections to compliment our furniture displays and interior design department, from contemporary geometric designs to beautiful classics - there is something to suit everyone's taste!

We realise the importance a rug can have in finishing a space and want to showcase our incredible range of statement rugs currently on offer in store… 

Flat weave rugs

Commonly recognised as one of the most popular types of rugs, flat weave rugs are created using a specific weaving technique. They do not contain pile, which makes them very lightweight and easy to maintain, perfect for those who enjoy moving their room around or experimenting with the positioning of their space. 

Geometric rugs

Geometric and patterned rugs can make a beautiful addition to any room. They are ideal for creating a focal point and are great at grabbing the attention of your guests. Additionally, bright and colourful geometric rugs can provide a juxtaposition to a room, particularly those which have very neutral and minimalistic walls or decor. 

We currently have the Calligaris Cementino Rug on display in store, which is a beautiful tribute to flooring made with Portland cement tiles - a true icon of late 19th-century Italian and European moderate-income housing.

Known for being luxurious, seductive and soft, it’s no wonder that silk rugs are the ideal item for adding a touch of sheen and lustre to a room. Whether you are on the hunt for a bright and vibrant damask rug or a more neutral-toned one, it is important to note that the pattern and colouring of your rug may affect the way in which you decorate and bring your room together. 

Persian rugs

Add a touch of richness and history to your room with a beautiful unique persian rug. The dynamic mix of patterns, textures and colours can turn any room into a sophisticated living area or give your home a vibrant welcoming as they can be used as a runner in a hallway. 

At Andersons we select a small amount of persian rugs from suppliers which are displayed on our shop floor. An important aspect of these styles of rugs is that once they are sold we cannot order the same rug again which makes them a unique purchase. 

Contemporary rugs

For those who are looking for a more simple and neutral design, our homeware department offers a fantastic range of rugs which can give your room an extra sense of comfort and warmth- ideal for spaces with wooden flooring. 

The Katherine Carnaby collection of rugs offer a beautiful finish and have a wonderful contemporary colour palette, complementing many different design ideas and colour schemes - one of the favourites amongst our interior design department.
