1. Conduct research

“The very first step in starting your flooring journey is to carry out research around what type of flooring you’re looking for. You can kick start the process by browsing our website to familiarise yourself with the different flooring options available.

“Amtico flooring is a very popular choice amongst our customers, as this brand has a broad range of colours, textures and design options. Its affordability and durability make it an attractive option for a wide variety of customers looking for flooring that is guaranteed to stand the test of time.”

2. Visit us in-store

“We always recommend paying a visit to our store in Inverurie, in order to browse a wide range of flooring in person as well as get honest advice and guidance from the professionals.

“Located upstairs, you’ll find an expansive Amtico flooring gallery ready to explore - as Andersons of Inverurie is the only Amtico One retail partner across the region. Our experienced team has extensive knowledge about Amtico flooring, with many members having selected this brand for their own homes, so they’ll be able to answer any questions you have, and help you find the perfect design for your home. We also have an interactive design tool that allows you to look at full-size samples and visualise your room on a digital screen, meaning you can bring your flooring design to life at the click of a button.

“You can also take samples of Amtico flooring home with you - which is ideal if a few options catch your eye, or you want to see the colour in your own home before making a decision. This is a great way to help visualise different flooring styles and designs in your space without immediately committing to one design.

“Alternatively, if you’re set on an Amtico flooring design, then you can skip past the step of visiting us in-store and instead reach out to our team to set up a visit from our experienced flooring specialist.”

3. Use our free measuring service

“Once you’ve spoken to a member of our team, we can then set up a free visit from one of our flooring specialists, who will take a look at your space from a technical point of view and begin to take measurements.

“When it comes to Amtico flooring, a degree of preparation is required before the installation can take place. The product is only as good as the preparation and depends on the age of the property and subfloor type but rest assured our expert knowledge will ensure the correct course of installation is carried out.

“Any information regarding the preparation of your flooring will be noted during the visit from our flooring team, as this will help to give a better insight into the project scope and requirements. If you’re still struggling with selecting the design of your flooring or would like interior design support, we can also send out a member of our sales or interior design team to come and take a quick look at the project.”

4. Quotation

“After visiting the project our flooring specialist will pass any measurements and details over to our sales or interior design team, where an accurate quotation will be created based on the information provided.

“Once you’re happy with the flooring design and the quotation provided by our team, a 25% deposit will be required to secure your flooring. This deposit goes towards placing an order for your flooring.”

5. Installation by a member of our trained team

“With your deposit now paid for your new Amtico flooring, it’s time to move on to the most exciting part of the process - the installation.

“Regardless of the flooring design you select, it’s crucial to remember that the flooring is only ever as good as the installation, highlighting the importance of partnering with a reputable and experienced team. At Andersons of Inverurie, we take pride in our highly skilled in-house flooring team, many of whom boast an impressive 20-30 years of experience dealing with a range of different flooring designs.

“As the only Amtico One retail partner across the region, our team is highly skilled in installing Amtico flooring and understands the importance of finding the right fit for the customer. For instance, Amtico flooring is a design-based flooring which means there is no ‘one way’ to fit it, so you don’t have to worry about the laying pattern until the day of installation. During the installation, our team will be on hand to talk you through different layout options, helping you to decide what layout pattern works best for you.

“Once the installation process has been completed, you can sit back, relax and enjoy your brand new flooring!”
