Description

The new Robert Welch Professional kitchen knives are high performance knives designed for culinary excellence, whether in use by the keen home cook or professional chef.

The precision sharpened Professional 14cm/5.5" santoku knife is an all purpose knife for slicing, dicing, chopping, and mincing. It can be used for meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, and herbs. The thin, scalloped blade reduces friction and helps to prevent food from sticking to the blade, allowing you to cut things more finely and precisely.

Also available: Professional Santoku Knife 12cm, Professional Santoku Knife 17cm

Robert Welch Professional kitchen knives feature a classic handle shape for comfort in the hand and are perfectly weighted and balanced for control in the kitchen. Comprising 11 knives for every task in the enthusiastic cook’s kitchen, Professional knives are slightly larger and heavier in the hand than our Signature knives. The handle of the 14cm santoku knife is smaller than the other knives in the Professional collection. World Edge Geometry combined with ice hardened German stainless steel provide a harder more resilient blade with exceptional longer lasting sharpness.

Dimensions/Details

To clean the exterior of your salt and pepper mills, use a dry microfibre cloth (dampened for more stubborn marks and dried immediately after cleaning). To protect the internal grinding mechanism do not submerge in water or place in the dishwasher.

Cleaning the ceramic mechanism of the mill before adding a new spice:
1. Empty the existing spice from the mills.
2. Add a tablespoon of coarse salt to the mill.
3. Adjust the grinder to fine.
4. Grind until no more salt comes out.
5. Remove any excess salt from the mill.
6. Add new spice.

Deep clean cleaning the ceramic mechanism of the mill:
1. Unscrew the grey adjusting wheel.
2. Carefully remove the ceramic cone, ensuring the spring stays securely in place.
3. Wipe the loose dust from the cone with a cloth or brush.
4. Wash the cone in water.
5. Wipe and leave to dry thoroughly before replacing.
