Introducing The New Neutrals In Karndean's Van Gogh Flooring Collection

We've been getting excited about the launch of Karndean's beautiful new flooring designs in their Van Gogh collection, and they've now arrived in store!

Inspired by European forest oaks, Karndean has expanded its popular Van Gogh range of luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring with 6 stunning new neutral designs, bringing the collection up to 32 designs.

Since these stunning new designs are now ready for you to come and browse in store, we wanted to share what we love about the new additions to the collection.

Realistic detail

Karndean is an expert in combining the beauty of natural wood with the practicality of vinyl flooring. Its new designs in the Van Gogh collection have an incredibly realistic finish, achieved using the team's handcrafted execution of distressing and refining to create the look of real wood.

The Light Distressed Oak, inspired by the original distressed oak design, has incorporated more striking grains and knot details to give you an eye-catching floor with an authentic and rustic finish.

The Blush Oak, with its cool rosy undertones, and the Greige Oak have taken inspiration from the French oaks to create a muted flowery grain, intensified through a natural liming process to create a flooring look that would be great alongside either traditional, rustic interiors, or a modern space with lots of light.

Understated design

The fresh, neutral tones in Karndean's new designs have an understated beauty that offers you the perfect canvas to style any room in your home from the ground up.

The Van Gogh collection combines warm and cool tones to create flooring designs that are simple and timeless. While the Misty Grey offers a warmer, smoky shade, the Cool Grey and Natural Prime Oak have cooler colourways to create a subtle visual interest that will stand the test of time.

Since Karndean's new designs consist of more neutral tones, they are ideal for complementing current design trends. Whether you want to achieve a cosy Scandi look, or a contemporary industrial aesthetic, the new designs are ideal for a modern, minimalist trend, and can be built upon and accessorised to create a more colourful interior.

Tailored to suit you

To get the flooring finish you want, Karndean offers three different ways you can personalise your chosen flooring with their design strips, to create a look that is tailored specifically for you.

You can have the strips added between each plank to create a ship's deck pattern, or you can add design strips around the entire planks individually for a grouted tile effect. Both create a striking, authentic look that further amplifies the look of real wood.

Alternatively, there's the option to place the design strips between every other plank, which creates the illusion of the room being wider than it is, creating the ideal solution for maximising space in a small room or hallway.
